Instructions:  The problems are all taken from the first twelve chapters
   of  volume 2 of Bohm-Vitense's book, with an emphasis on Chs. 9-12.
   You may want to read through those chapters carefully before beginning
    the test.

    Once you are ready and have three contiguous hours available, you should
     download the midterm and begin.  You can use whatever books and notes
     you want, but please do not consult with anybody else.  Please write
     your solutions as clearly as possible.  If something in the problems is not
     clear (I do not anticipate anything, but just in case), please state as clearly
     as possible the source of confusion.
